The Bible is more than information to be consumed—it is a living invitation to encounter God, be formed by His truth, and respond in faith. Word Alive invites women to move beyond simply reading Scripture to experiencing and understanding it in ways that speak directly into everyday life.
Whether opening the Bible for the first time or returning to familiar passages, women will discover approachable ways to engage Scripture with fresh eyes and a renewed heart. Through biblical teachings and interactive experiences, women explore the bigger story of Scripture, discover how their own stories fit within it, and gain practical tools and rhythms that make time in God’s Word meaningful and life-giving.

Whispers of Faith invites women to explore prayer as a personal way to connect with God—wherever they find themselves. Through Biblical teaching and interactive prayer stations, women experience different ways to approach God honestly, deepen their connection with Him, and discover prayer rhythms for everyday life.
Especially meaningful for women navigating change, carrying quiet burdens, seeking clarity, or simply longing for a deeper connection with God, this retreat creates a grace-filled space to bring our whole selves—our questions, weariness, hope, and faith—before Him. Women leave renewed and equipped with practical prayer rhythms they can carry into everyday life, reminded that God is as near as a whisper of faith.

In the busyness of life—and amid the many voices telling women who they should be—it can be easy to lose sight of the truth of who God says we are. Custom-Made invites women to slow down and rediscover the beautiful truth of Psalm 139: we are fully known by God, wonderfully made, and created with intention.
Through Biblical teaching, personal reflection, and meaningful creative experiences, women explore what it means to root their identity in Christ rather than in roles, expectations, accomplishments, or comparison. This retreat creates space to reconnect with the One who created us and see ourselves more clearly through His eyes.

Mother-Daughter

The relationship between a mother and daughter is a gift—one that grows and changes through every season. Mother-Daughter invites mothers and daughters to step away from the distractions of everyday life, connect with one another, and grow together in their relationship with God.
Each Mother-Daughter retreat is centered around a Biblical theme designed to spark meaningful conversation, shared discovery, and opportunities to experience faith together. Mothers and daughters are invited to learn alongside one another, strengthen their connection, and create shared moments of faith they can carry home with them.

Women of Redemption

The women of Scripture were real women navigating real circumstances—uncertainty, waiting, loss, calling, fear, failure, and faith. Women of Redemption invites women to step into their stories and discover the God who met them there, worked through their lives, and brought redemption in ways they may never have expected.
Inspired by the book, Women of Redemption, each retreat centers around one of eight characteristics found within the stories of Biblical matriarchs. Your church can choose the characteristic that speaks to what your women need in this season and see familiar stories with fresh eyes while recognizing God’s redemptive work throughout Scripture and in our stories today.

Whether you have a few hours, a full day, or an entire weekend, Broken & Beautiful Retreat experiences can be adapted to fit the time and space you have available without losing the intentionality at the heart of the retreat.
The time we have together may change, but the intentionality behind it doesn’t.
Half-Day Retreat
A meaningful retreat experience designed for a morning together. This 3.5-hour retreat is perfect for churches looking to create intentional space for women to encounter God without an overnight commitment.
Full-Day Retreat
More time allows women to settle in, engage more deeply with the retreat theme, and experience a fuller rhythm of teaching, reflection, connection, and intentional activities throughout the 8-hour day.
One-Night Retreat
Stepping away overnight creates space to slow down and go deeper. This 24-hour retreat allows for an immersive experience while remaining accessible for women who may not be able to commit to an entire weekend away.
Two-Night Retreat
Our most immersive retreat experience, a 2-night retreat allows women extended time away from everyday responsibilities to rest, connect, and engage deeply with God and one another. This is an alumni retreat favorite!
Meet the women behind Broken & Beautiful Retreats.
We’re Stephanie and Shannon, and at the heart of Broken & Beautiful Retreats is a shared desire to create spaces where Christian women can encounter God, and experience Spirit-empowered breakthroughs.
Broken & Beautiful Retreats grew from our own experiences of seeing God meet us in the beautiful, the broken, and everything in between. We believe some of the most meaningful ministry happens when women are given permission to show up honestly, open their hearts to God, and make space for Him to work.
We bring our individual gifts, experiences, and perspectives to each retreat—but with one shared purpose: to point women toward Jesus and create intentional experiences where faith can deepen, relationships can grow, and God has room to move.
